I have over 40 years' worth of English-teaching experience, and although I have always kept up with the latest developments in teaching, I am a seriously 'Old-School' teacher. Once I get to know the student, my online teaching method is to set a task (written or spoken) to be completed before the online face-2-face meeting. Thus, the student's own work becomes the basis for my online lesson. I have successfully used this method with non-native English speakers for the last 15 years, both for IELTS exams and university degree programmes.
